• Oprah Winfrey says she's now keeping Detroit-raised gospel singer BeBe Winans from appearing on her show until his misdemeanor domestic assault charges for allegedly pushing ex-wife Debra Winans are resolved, according to the Associated Press. Winans, who appeared on Oprah's show last week and has taped segments for her "Karaoke Challenge," has a court date Jan. 20.
• West Bloomfield's Jin Swartz, a 13-year-old animal rescue volunteer and street team member of the Animal Care Network (ACN
